Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- crushed ice
- 2 ounces San Pellegrino Sanbitter
- 1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- chilled soda water or sparkling water
- orange twist, for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Make Simple Syrup:
Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and heat, stirring over a low flame until sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Pour into a jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
In a white-wine glass half-filled with crushed ice, combine 1 teaspoon simple syrup, San Pellegrino Sanbitter and grapefruit juice. Top with chilled soda water or sparkling water and stir gently. Garnish with an orange twist.
