FRIED CHICKEN BATTER

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 TBS cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 lbs chicken wings

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk all ingredients until smooth

Oil at 350 degrees

Dip chicken in batter, drain excess, place in hot oil, don't crowd pan

Cook for 7 minutes, remove, drain and rest 5 minutes. Increase oil temp to 375.

Return chicken to pain and cook add'l 7 minutes or until golden brown
