Beef Stew

  • 2-lbs. beef stew meat
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup quick-cooking tapioca
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (4-oz.) sliced mushrooms, undrained
  • 1 medium onion, cut into eighths
  • 2 cans (10 1/2-oz. each) condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 pound baby carrots
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 stalk celery

Preparation

Step 1

Directions:
Toss stew meat with bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
Place beef in COOKING PAN and add remaining ingredients; stir well.
Cover and roast at 250°F for 4 to 5 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender.
