cups (1½ pkgs, 11.5 oz. each) Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips
can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)

1. Line 8- or 9-inch square pan with wax paper. 2. Place chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and salt in medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at high for one minute; stir. If necessary, microwave additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread evenly in prepared pan. 3. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator. Makes about 2 pounds. Conventional method: Melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt in heavy saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Spread evenly in prepared pan.
