Ingredients
- 1 lb.ground meat (beef, pork and veal combination)
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- 2 tsp. grated Locatelli or Romano cheese
- 2 gloves garlic chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbls. fresh parsley
- 1 Tbls. fresh basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Italian roll or Italian bread soaked in milk and squeezed tightly
- olive oil
- 3-4 hot Italian or Jalapeno Peppers cut and cored
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients well together except Italian pepper. If to moist, add handful of breadcrumbs. Shape into golf ball size meat balls. Heat oil and saute with Italian peppers.
