Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 hothouse cucumber, unpeeled and seeded
  • 2 containers Greek yogurt (7 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tblsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 TBLSP white wine vinegar
  • 1 TBLSP minced fresh dill
  • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Grate cucumber by hand on a box grater. Squeeze the cucumber with your hands to remove a lot (but not all) of the liquid. Place in medium bowl and stir in the yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice, vinegar, dill, garlic, 2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper.

Serve cold or at room temperature.
