Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 ounces of thinly sliced deli ham
  • Swiss cheese cut into 4 sticks (roughly 1/2" square and 3 inches long)

Preparation

Step 1

Cut a pocket into the widest, thickest part of the breast. Sweep the blade back and forth, cutting the opening larger, being careful not to cut through the end, top, or bottom.

Wrap a slice of ham around each block of cheese and insert into the pockets. Coast each breast with Dijon mustard and season with salt and pepper. Grill chicken, covered, 5 - 6 minutes per side or until done.
