- 12 ounces blackberries
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/3 cup sugar

Step 1
Step 1 Combine blackberries, wine, 1/2 cup water and sugar in a medium pot.Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring until sugar dissolves, about 5 min. Use a slotted spoon to remove blackberries. Divide blackberries into pop molds and pour wine mixture over top.
Step 2 Insert sticks and freeze until firm, at least four hour and up to a week. To unmold dip in cold water to soften slightly. Store in freezer.
I tried this with fresh peaches and Franzia Sunset blush and made a granita out of it and it was yummy!
