SMOKY BARBECUE SAUCE-LOW CARB

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup granulated Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6 ounce can tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke

Step 1
Mix all but the tomato paste and liquid smoke in a medium pot. Bring to a light boil, then simmer 20 minutes. Whisk in the tomato paste and liquid smoke. Simmer an additional 10 minutes.
Makes about 2 1/4 cups sauce
