Ingredients
- Streusel Filling:
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 18 oz. container of sour cream
- 1 can cherry fruit filling
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cinnamon
- 1/4 cup soft butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 375 degrees
Grease two 9" round pans
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, beat until light and fluffy. Add almond extract. Mix dry ingredients together. Alternate sour cream and dry ingredients into butter/sugar mixture. Divide batter into two pans. Spread fruit topping on top of each pan; sprinkle streusel over top of each pan, bake for 25-30 minutes.
Streusel Topping:
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon together. Cut butter into mixture. Struesel should be crummy looking.
