    9 in. Pie Crust

  • 3 1/2

    3 1/2 oz.French Fried Onions (2 cup)

  • 4

    Eggs

  • 2

    Cup Milk

  • 2

    oz. Sharp Cheese, shredded (1/2 c.)

  • 1/2

    tsp. Salt dash Cayenne Bacon Bits or

  • make your own

Directions

Prepare crust. Bake 450 for 7-8 min. or till golden brown. Reduce oven to 325. While pastry is still warm fill bottom with 1 1/2 cup of French Fried Onions. Reserve remaining ½ cup for garnish. Beat eggs, slightly; blend in milk, the ½ cup shredded cheese, salt & cayenne. Pour over onions. Sprinkle the 1 cup shredded cheese over pie. Bake at 325 for 45 min. Sprinkle reserved onions around edge of pie. Bake 5-10 min. more or till knife inserted comes out clean. Let stand at room temp. 10 min. before serving. I used Sharp Cheese (the flavor was excellent) & julienne ham.
