Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 16 oz walnuts chopped
  • 3/4 lb pignolie nuts (pine nuts)
  • 40-60 Raisins
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 can Anchovies

Preparation

Step 1

1) On low heat, fry the garlic in the oil until the garlic is browned.
2) Slowly add 1/2 can of anchovies and let cook until it has melted into the oil
3) Add the raisins and let them puff up.
4) Add the walnuts and the pine nuts and let them simmer until consistency is thick.
5) Add 1 quart of water and then cooke for 2-3 hours after everything is mixed.
