Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter (2 sticks)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup regular rolled oats
- 1 cup Crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325°.
2. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
3. Add egg, oil and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Add oats, cornflake, coconut and nuts. Stir well.
5. Add flour, soda and salt. Stir until well blended.
6. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with fork dipped in water. 7. Bake 15 minutes.
Freezes well.
