Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Bars-One Bowl

Thick, chewy and loaded with chocolate and peanut butter, these One Bowl Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Bars are super easy to make and completely irresistible!

Ingredients
- 1/4 C butter, softened
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 C all-purpose or white whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 C peanut butter chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugars. Add in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract and beat until creamy. Add in flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
Spread batter into prepared baking dish. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until edges start to turn golden brown. Do not over bake.
Remove to a wire rack to cool. Cut into bars. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
