Calzone - Tara's Stromboli version

A family recipe that is great for anytime of day - breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough recipe (makes 2 pizza crusts)
- 2 pounds sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 3/4 cups grated mozzarella
- 1/3 cup parmesan
- 2 raw eggs, beaten
- 1 raw egg beaten w/ some water for egg wash

Step 1
Saute sausage and onion, breaking up sausage so it's not too chunky. Drain well and let cool. Chop hard boiled eggs and combine with meat and cheeses. Stir in the 2 raw eggs. Roll out pizza dough, spread meat mixture all around leaving a 1” edge (I place a little more where I start to roll and a little less on the finishing end) and roll up tucking in sides. Place on greased parchment seam side down. Place about 6 slits in top with knife and brush on egg wash and sprinkle with a little coarse salt . Bake at 375°F for about 1/2 hour.
