Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 banana
  • Water, as needed

Preparation

Step 1

Spray a regular or mini muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray (or use silicone muffin pans).
Place the almond butter, yogurt, and banana in a blender and puree until smooth. Add water a teaspoon at a time, if needed, to create a smooth consistency.
Divide the mixture into the muffin tins and freeze until firm, about 1 hour. Run a thin knife around the edges and pop out the treats, then store in a freezer ziploc bag for up to 2 months.

Recipe Notes:

Any kind of nut butter can be used in place of almond butter – most dogs love peanut butter!
If you have a dog who is a slow eater, you may want to give them the treat outside to avoid a mess on the floor.
