Ingredients
- 6 xtra large yolks
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tb. cornstarch
- 2 c. whole milk (half and half or heavy cream even better)
- 2 Tb. butter
- 1 t. vanilla
- 2 Tb. heavy cream
- 1 t. cognac

Preparation
Step 1
Whisk the first three together while the milk comes to a boil. Temper it in.
Add the last of the ingredients.
Bring to a boil. Put in ice bath and cover directly with plastic wrap.
