Rum Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1 cup 10X sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. light or dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup dark rum

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the first 6 ingredients. Mix well. Stir in the corn syrup and rum. Shape into 1" balls. Roll balls into the 10X sugar. Store in covered jar in refrigerator until ready to serve. Makes about 30 balls.

BRANDY BALLS: replace the rum with 1/4 cup brandy.
