Ingredients
- 3 to 4 pound fryer cut in pieces
- 1/3 cup seasoned flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 1/2 teaspoon grated onion
- 1 tablespoon salt and a dash of pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon celery flakes
- 1 1/3 cup minute rice cooked
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
roll chicken in flour and fry in butter
put rice in bottom of casserole
add water
after chicken is fried,set aside
pour soup, onion, parsley and celery into skillet and heat
pour soup (all but 1/3 over)over rice, place chicken on top of rice and soup
pour remainder of soup over top
bake 45 minutes in moderate oven
