7-Layer Salad

layer salad in order of ingredients

Ingredients
- 1 head of iceberg lettuce
- 1/4 cup each of green pepper, celery and onion all diced small.
- 2 cups frozen peas thawed
- 3 eggs, hard boiled and chopped
- Mayonnaise - cover all like frosting
- 7 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1-1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Break head of lettuce into bite size pieces and place in bottom or pan.
Diced green pepper, celery and onion and spread on top o lettuce as next layer.
Next spread peas across the pan as layer 3.
Diced hard boiled egg and sprinkle on pan as layer 4.
Put Mayonnaise across top of what in pan as a frosting as layer 5.
Sprinkle bacon bits across salad as layer 6.
Next sprinkle shredded cheese on top of salad as layer 7.
Cover salad and put in refrigerator for 6 hours.
