Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 medium sweet yellow onion, halved and sliced
- 2 tsps sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 14 oz bag of coleslaw mix
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Romaine leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Preparation
Step 1
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions sausage and cook, stirring often to crumble, until cooked through and browned.
Add sesame oil, garlic and ginger. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the coleslaw mix, and soy, teriyaki and oyster sauces and red pepper flakes to the skillet with the sausage mixture. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until cabbage has softened a bit.
Remove from the heat and spoon into romaine leaves. Top with the green onions. Serve immediately.
