Ingredients

  • 1 package sugar cookie dough
  • champagne extract
  • 2 C powdered sugar
  • food coloring
  • edible silver candies
  • water

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

Combine dough with a few drops of extract and 1/4 C powdered sugar. On a floured board, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thick. Use any shaped cookie cutter that is appropriate and cut out cookies placing on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Make icing and color to desired color. Pipe along the outside of cookie and let dry. Use same or you can use different color to fill in boarder. Before it dries use silver candies to spell out persons name.
