Fanned Baked Potatoes

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 3 Tbl. liquid margarine
  • 2 Tbl. chopped parsley
  • 2 green onions, stems only, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • shredded Cheddar cheese



Step 1

Scrub and rinse potatoes. Lay potatoes on cutting board and cut thin slices in a roll all the way across the potato but not cutting all the way through. Repeat with all the potatoes. Put potatoes in baking dish and pull slices slightly apart to get fan effect. Drizzle with margarine and sprinkle with herbs. Bake at 425 for 50 minutes.. Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Bake pottoes for another 10-15 minutes or until cheese are melted and potatoes are soft inside.
