FROSTING - Royal Icing (by Amy Dang)

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs meringue powder
  • 4 c sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 c warm water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, whisk together meringue powder, water until a slight foam forms. Add in icing sugar and vanilla and mix until icing becomes light and airy, about 2 mins. If the mixture is too thick add 1/2 tsp water at a time until you reach proper consistency. The icing should be thick at this point.


Note: use a water bottle to spray the icing if you nee to thin it out.
