Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1/4 C Butter, Softened
  • 2 LBs Powdered Sugar
  • 1-2 tsp Extract of your choice
  • Gel Food Coloring
  • 1/2 C Powdered Sugar for rolling

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add 1 C powdered sugar, combine. Add Extract and mix. Add the rest of the powdered sugar slowly.

Separate to color with gel. Refrigerate 2 hours until firm to handle. Line sheet pans with powdered sugar. Roll into 1 inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar and place on prepared sheets. score with fork or flatten with bottom of cup. Let dry for 4 hours until firm. (May need to flip and dry bottoms too.)

Store in airtight container with wax paper between layers. No need to refrigerate. Make up to 2 weeks in advance.
