Ingredients

  • Add the following ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef - browned and drained
  • 1 small onion - diced
  • 2 stalks of celery diced
  • 1 can niblets corn - undrained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes - large
  • 1 can black beans or kidney beans - drained and rinsed
  • 1 can tomato sauce (7 1/2 oz)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • Several drops of hot sauce
  • Enough water to make it soup-like but not over watered down

Preparation

Step 1

Brown ground beef until no longer pink. Add onions and celery and cook about 2 minutes. If cooking on stove, use a dutch oven and simmer all ingredients for about 30 minutes.

If using a slow cooker 5 hours on low.

Serve with taco chips, sour cream and shredded cheese(of your liking- cheddar, tex-mex etc)
