Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs, blend well. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mix well.

Form small balls and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 mins on 400 degrees.
