Beer Mustard Bread

Although seasoned with mustard and thyme, this bread is more subtly flavored than you might expect. It goes well with meats, whether as a dinner bread or sandwich bread.

Ingredients

    cup flat beer

  • 2

    tbsp powdered milk

  • 1

    tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1

    tbsp sugar

  • 2

    tbsp Dijon-style mustard

  • 1/2

    tsp dried thyme

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 2

    cups bread flour

  • l 1/2 tsp yeast

Directions

Place all ingredients in bread pan in order recommended by your bread machine instructions. Set machine for white bread, medium crust. Press Start.
