Black Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 C black rice
  • 1-3/4 C water or stock
  • salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Add water to glass bowl and cover with warm water. Using hands, mix rice around and agitate rice.

Strain rice and pour water out. Repeat this process 4 more times.

Place rice in rice cooker and add water or stock. Cook on brown rice setting.

Makes 2 servings.
