Garlic Pepper Potato Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp fresh-ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 1/2 tsp yeast
- 2 tbsp milk

Preparation
Step 1
Put all ingredients except milk in bread pan in order suggested by your bread machine instructions. Set for white bread, dough stage. Press Start.
Lightly oil an 8- or 9-inch square pan.
When dough is ready, remove from bread machine and punch down. Cut smaller recipe into 8 to 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball - it does not have to be perfectly round. Place balls about 1/2 inch apart in baking pan. Cover loosely and set in a warm place to rise until doubled, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°E Lightly brush tops of rolls with milk. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until rolls are golden and a skewer inserted in roll comes out clean.
