Italian Love Cake

Very moist and delicious.

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 1 box chocolate or marble cake mix
• 2 lbs whole milk ricotta cheese
• 4 eggs
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 small pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
• 1 cup milk
• 1 8 oz container Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9" x 13" pan. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix the remaining ingredients listed above. Pour over cake mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes (baking time can vary, check with toothpick). Cool cake in pan. Once cake is cooled, top with frosting and refrigerate.

Frosting: Mix pudding and milk, beat until thick, add cool whip and beat until completely blended.
