This is my mother-in-law's recipe that is made every year at Thanksgiving.

Ingredients
- 2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3 Tbl Flour
- 3 Egg Yolks
- 3 Tbl Cocoa
- 1 Tbl Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tbl Butter
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 9" baked pie shell
- Whipped Cream
Preparation
Step 1
Scald 1 1/2 cup milk. Mix sugar, salt, flour cocoa, oil and remaining milk together. Stir into hot mil and cook slowly until thickened, stirring constantly. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add mixture slowly to beaten egg yolks and cook one minute longer. Add butter and vanilla. Cover with plastic wrap directly onto pudding to avoid forming a hard crust. Cool. Pour into baked pastry shell and spread with whipped cream.
