This is Lori's Homestyle Mac n Cheese recipe, to which I made a few changes.

Ingredients
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup butter, minus 2 TBL
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups milk (mix with 1/2 cup half n half if desired)
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cubed Havarti cheese
- 1/2 cup crushed potato chips

Step 1
Cook elbow macaroni. Melt butter in La Creuset on low to medium heat, add pepper and salt and mix. Add flour, a little at a time, through a sifter to make a roue. Slowly add milk and mix. Then add cheese and mix well. Remove from heat, and add elbow macaroni slowly. Mix well. Spread crushed potato chips over the top. Bake uncovered in 350 oven for 30 minutes.
