Holly Cookies - Chris Abell

Mother used to make these cookies to add "color" to the cookie platter. Kids love them.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Margerine (do not use butter)
  • 40 Large Marshmallows
  • 3 tsp Green Food Coloring
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 cups Corn Flakes
  • Red Hots

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margerine in double boiler. Add marshmallows. After melted, add green food coloring and vanilla. Stir in 4 cups corn flakes - keep warm. Drop on greased waxed paper by teaspoonfuls. Put 1 or 2 red hots in middle while warm.
