Mississippi Blueberry Sauce

This sauce is great on ice cream, cheesecake, or panna cotta. Almost anything creamy makes a great base for this juicy, tart, and fruity topping.

Ingredients
- 1 pound(s) fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoon(s) water
- 2 teaspoon(s) freshly squeezed lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium to small sauce pan, add all of the above ingredients together and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the juices of the berries have released and made a sauce.
Refrigerate before serving.
