Roasted Parmesan Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce green beans, trimmed ( make sure they are dry )
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons shredded parmesan ( Omit for Whole 30 Compliance )

Preparation

Step 1

Pre heat oven 425. Line a baking sheet with foil for easy clean up.
Lay green beans out on the baking sheet and drizzle oil over them.
Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder, and toss to coat evenly.
Spread them out on the baking sheet so that they all lay flat and place on lower third of oven.
Bake 10 minutes, shake pan to turn and bake 5 additional minutes ( I cooked longer )
Remove from oven and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese.


* I added some fresh broccoli I had in fridge worked fine.
