Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 T. paprika
  • 1/4 t. onion powder
  • 1/4 t. garlic powder
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/8 t. black pepper
  • 2 pork chops, trimmed of fat
  • 1/4 c. low fat buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Line a baking sheet with nonstick foil. Spray foil with olive oil cooking spray.

Combine breadcrumbs and all the seasonings in a dredging container; set aside. Place the buttermilk in another shallow dredging container; set aside.

Place the pork chops between sheets of wax paper. Pound them to 1/4" thickness using the smooth side of a meat mallet.

Dip the both sides of the chops in the buttermilk, then coat both sides with the bread crumb mixture. Place the chops on the prepared baking sheet and bake until browned, about 12 minutes.
