Overnight Coffeecake - Chris Abell

Pete's mom found this recipe several years ago, and it has become one of our holiday breakfast items since...

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 serving size) package Vanilla or Butterscotch Pudding Mix (not instant)
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter, Melted
  • 1 package Frozen Dinner Roll Dough (about 25 rolls)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine pudding mix, sugar and nuts - mix well. Generously grease bundt pan with butter; separate frozen balls of dough and place them in pan. Pour melted butter over dough. Sprinkle with pudding mixture. Set aside to let dough rise overnight.

In the morning, preheat oven to 350. Bake coffeecake for 30 minutes. Invert onto serving place. Serve warm, pulling dough apart to serve.
