Tripple Peanut Bars

Ingredients

  • Peanut butter icing:
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 18 oz roll refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
  • 1 12 oz packet (2 c) semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 1 14 oz can (1 1/4 c) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 c dry-roasted peanuts
  • 1 10 oz package peanut butter-flavored pieces
  • peanut butter icing (optional)
  • 1 c sifted powdered sugar,
  • 1/4 c peanut butter
  • 1 TBSP milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Slightly coat at 15x10x1 in baking pan with cooking spray; set aside. Using floured hands, press cookie dough onto bottom of prepared pan.

2. Sprinkle chocolate pieces evenly over dough. Drizzle with sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle with the peanuts and peanut butter pieces; press firmly.

3. Bake in a 350 oven about 25 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool in pan on a wire rack. If desired, drizzle with Peanut Butter Icing. Cut into bars. Store, covered, in the fridge. Makes about 72 bars.

Peanut butter icing:
1. In a small bowl beat together 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1/4 c peanut butter and 1 tbsp. milk. Beat in enough additional milk, 1 tsp at a time to make an icing of drizzling consistency.
