Ingredients
- 4 cups blackberries
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. finely shredded lime peel
- 1/2 cup lime juice
Preparation
Step 1
In a 6 qt. pot combine blackbarries, sugar, the water, lime peel and lime juice. bring to boiling, stirring until sugar dissolves; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes or until mixture is thickened.
Ladle into hot jars. Wipe rims, adjust lids and bands. Process in a hot water canner for 15 minutes.
