Ingredients
- 3 yellow onions ..chopped
- 2 bunches fresh parsley...chopped....no stems
- 5 heaping tablespoons fresh basil...chopped
- Oil
- Salt
- Sugar
- Tomato paste....2 tablespoons
- 2 16 oz. Cans tomato sauce
- 2 16 oz. Cans crushed tomatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Chop basil and cover with oil.set aside.
Sauté onions with a little salt until golden. Add 2/3 cup parsley,cook two minutes, stir,add 5 heaping tbls. Of basil, stir and salt. Add 2 tbls. tomato paste and stir to dissolve, add 2 tbls. sugar. Add tomato sauce,salt,and 2 tbls. sugar. Add tomatoes, salt,and 2 tbls.sugar. cook,stirring often 2-3 hours
