Ingredients
- 1 lb Flank steak
- FOR THE MARINADE
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons onion, grated
- 1 tablespoon ginger, fresh grated
Preparation
Step 1
1. Score one side of the steak by making shallow cuts in a crosswise pattern.
2. Combine the marinade and pour over the meat.
3. Cover and refrigerate 1-3 days, the longer the better
4. Grill 4-5 mins per side for medium rare
5. Slice in thin strips across the grain
6. Good hot or cold.

Tips
The nutritional analysis includes the entire 3/4 cup of of oil. Obviously it is drained off before you grill the steak.
Serve with rice. If you'd like you can boil the marinade for about 5 minutes, drain off most of the oil and use it as a sauce for the rice.
