Ingredients

  • 2 (11 ounce) packages white chocolate chips
  • 1 C heavy cream
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • dash salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Into a large, heavy sauce pan place 2 (11 ounce) packages of white chocolate chips. Pour 1 C heavy cream over the top.

2. Place 1 tsp coconut oil (or shortening) into the pan. This will give it just a little bit of a glossy shine and allow the chocolate to be nice and smooth.

3. Turn the heat to medium low and stir it together as the chocolate melts. It will look a little bit weird at first, no worries. You want to be sure not to get it too hot. It's best to let it melt at lower heat. White chocolate can be a bit temperamental and will harden up on you if it gets too hot before it has melted.

4. When it has melted, add a dash of salt and give it a nice stir. Place the mixture in a crock pot or fondue pot to serve alongside your favorite dippers. Strawberries, dried mangos, cinnamon bears, Oreos, pretzel rods, etc.

Notes

You can make this ahead of time and store it in the fridge. Reheat it in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring after each one.
