  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 t. water
  • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 t. Creole seasoning
  • 1/4 t. black pepper
  • 20 uncooked string beans, trimmed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together egg whites with water until foamy. In another shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, Creole seasoning and pepper.

Dip each string bean into egg white mixture; gently shake off any excess. Dip into cheese mixture, turning to coat. Place on prepared baking sheet making sure that fries don't touch or overlap. Repeat with all the string beans. Rewhip the egg whites as needed.

Bake until cheese has melted and browned a little, about 8 minutes. Transfer pan to a wire rack and cool for a few minutes.
