Ingredients

  • 300 g leftover mash
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg
  • 6 rashers crispy bacon
  • 1 tbsp chives
  • 1 tsp salt+pepper
  • 1/2 mozzarella
  • 1/2 cheddar
  • vegetable oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

Add all you ingredients to a bowl and mix well.
Grab a small handful of the mixture and using your hands sculpt into into a triangular shape.
Lay your triangle on a baking paper lined tray. Repeat with the rest of the mash.

Freeze for 1 hour.

Bake 350 for 20-25 minutes. You can also fry.
Heat oil until 170°c. When hot add your mash browns and fry for 4-5 minutes, or until they are nice and browned.
Serve immediately and dip in whatever you fancy.
