cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
family size box of chicken flavored rice/vermicelli (like Rice-a-Roni)
cup chopped celery
med onion, finely chopped
can cream of chicken soup
cup slivered or blanched almonds (if you want, you can brown in small amount of butter or oil)
cup crushed corn flakes
Prepare rice/vermicelli per package instructions. Add chicken, celery, onion, mayonnaise and soup. Mix well. Spread into casserole dish and top with corn flakes, then almonds. Bake at 325 for 20-30 minutes.
