Beef and Brocolli Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 6 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 TBL ginger
  • 1 tsp plus 1 TBL cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 TBL oil
  • 1 flank steak or chuck steak thinly sliced
  • 1 head bok choy chopped
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 TBL teriyaki sauce
  • 2 oz angel hair pasta
  • 6 scallions sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashews

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli 3 minitues in boiling water. Drain. Bring water back up to a boil. In a small bowl mix, ginger, 1 tsp cornstarch and garlic salt. In large skillet heat oil over high heat. Place beef in medium sized bowl and sprinkle with ginger mixture. Add beef to hot oil and cook til no longer pink. Add bok choy and broccoli. Cook 3 minutes more. In small bowl, whisk orange juice, teriyaki sauce, 2 TBL water and 1 Tbl cornstarch. Add sauce to skillet. Add angel hair to boiling water. Add cooked pasta and scallions to skillet. Top with cashews
