Mim's Croutons

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 loaf (8 to 10 ounces) sourdough bread, cut into cubes -- I try to have some crust on each cube.
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

Heat saute pan. Add Olive oil--heat the oil. Add the croutons. Salt them. Once they are brown on one side, turn them over and brown the other side.

Remove from heat.

Note: Best not to over crowd the pan. If doing in batches, heat more oil first.
