Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 4 cups rotini, cooked
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (juice included)
  • 1 lb. ricotta
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • basil
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown the sausage and onion in a skillet along with the olive oil.

2. Add the cooked pasta, and sauté lightly.

3. Add in the tomatoes (juice included), and cook for 2 minutes.

4. In a large bowl, combine the cheese, milk, basil, salt, & pepper.

5. Add the sausage and tomato combination to the cheese mixture and serve.
