Ingredients
- 3 Tbs. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 lbs. bone in chicken

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except chicken. Set aside half of mixture for later.
Pat chicken dry and coat over and under skin with remaining rub.Cover and refrigerate for 30 min.
Arrange chicken skin side down. Grill until skin is well browned and crisp, 20 min.
Lightly dredge the skin side with reserved rub and return to the grill, skin side up. Grill covered until rub has melted in a glaze and chicken is fully cooked. 20 min. or 160 degrees,
Let sit for 5 min.
